Salamatu Kamara aka Sallay, CEO and founder of promotional brand, “I Rep Salone”. She’s also the founder and marketing consultant at LB Internet Consultancy – a web design and graphic design company. I Rep Salone is one of the popular brands that is well known within the Sierra Leone community both home and abroad promoting Sierra Leoneans in various ways such as entertainment, fashion and many more trending news.

During the weekend (July 2019), the CEO of I Rep Salone was awarded as “Best Promoter” by the Sierra Leone Association of Artists and Musicians (SLAAM).This recognition came in as no surprise to the 2018 National Entertainment Awards (NEA) winner who is based in the United Kingdom.

The SLAAM award is miss Kamara’s fourth (4) award in under three (3) years after forming popular promotional brand, “I Rep Salone”, other awards includes the New Skool Awards, National Entertainment Awards, Sierra Leone Entertainment Awards and the SLAAM Awards in 2019.

Expressing joy over her recent achievement, Madam Salamatu firstly thanked the fans who she said, recognised her contributions in the entertainment industry and overwhelmingly voted her as the best promoter amongst others nominated under the same category.

“This award goes to the fans and Sierra Leoneans out there who believed in my hard work and therefore voted me as the best, I truly appreciate them”, she delightfully said.

She further applauded “I Rep Salone” team of promoters for their diligent and passionate efforts in making ” I Rep Salone ” Brand a force among other brands in Sierra Leone and the world at large.

“My promoters I salute you for your good work which has made I Rep Salone an enviable brand in promoting Sierra Leone in all aspects.

“To the organisers of the Sierra Leone Association of Artistes and Musicians (SLAAM) Awards, am grateful for recognising my good
job”, She noted.

I Rep Salone was founded in June, 2016 by Madam Salamatu Kamara who is based in England with an aim of supporting and promoting Sierra Leone in various topics both home and abroad.

Salamatu Kamara says she hopes to bring in more ideas to make “I Rep Salone” known not only home in Sierra Leone, but the international community despite the challenges she is faced with being a female promoter in a male dominated promo world.
